Zamin is the Persian term for the earth, so our story is about the earth and all who live on it. “Story of Zamin” is a slow fashion brand working in Tehran and Milan. Our designs are originated in our Persian roots with a modern and practical approach. Our dream is to empower artisanal communities economically and socially, help sustainable development and show the unrevealed beauties of different regions of Iran to the world, with a new interpretation.

We design partially in Milano which is a creative city; brilliant for our imagination, well-connected to the world of sustainable fashion. Our products are hand-crafted ethically in Iran, in different areas mostly small cities and villages. All the handmade embroideries in our collections are the traditional artworks of local artisans, all women from Sistan-Baluchestan and south Khorasan, to empower women and help them believe in themselves. To make the handmade art more delicate, most of the garments are made out of traditional handwoven fabrics from cities such as Ardakan and Abarkooh(Yazd) and Birjand (Khorasan). The materials we use are natural fibers such as cotton from local farms. We are glad to mention that we also have an upcycled clothing line from our fabric waste, in addition to work with zero waste patterns.

Our vision is to revive the traditional craftmanship by creativity, the art of slow production and by using natural material, to go hand in hand with the earth’s nature, creatures and people.
